Introduction: eye
We are living in the world where using screens like Mobile, Computer and Television is very normal. Everyone is looking at Screens, children, adults, old people, mid age people. Majority of people are using this technology for entertainment purpose. it may be for entertainment like watching reels, movies, Social media Scrolling liking pictures, playing games and there are many things on internet that provides entertainment to humans this days.
Its like in 24 hours of a day, our screen time is between 4 to 12 hours. its different for each person. But some people are using it for 4 hours, some for 5 hours and some for 10 hours and some for 12 hours or more than that. so the point is we are becoming weaker with our vision, like many children’s are wearing glasses small such a small age. they are using screens for multiple things so they got eye number in small age.
So many people are wearing glasses with numbers and the number of humans which wear glasses will increase in upcoming period of time as use of screen is increasing in our daily life. here I have provided some exercise list which will help in improving our eye power.
Exercise List:
Rotation of eyes: Humans don’t rotate their eyes to see in different direction, we simply rotate our neck. We need to practice of eye rotation atleast for 10 to 20 seconds daily.
- rotation of eyes help in improving blood flow.
- you can seat straight in middle of any wall, opposite side rectangular wall.
- just see the edges of that rectangular wall without rotating your head.
- start from one edge of wall go straight to right side then go down then left side and then up.
- this is how we can complete this exercise.
Rotation of Head: We usually do this but our eyes position is same as before. so what we need to do in this I will explain in below steps.
- make a small dot on wall.
- seat 4 to 5 feet away. Straight infront of you dot should be there.
- just keep looking at that black dot and move your head in left side then go back to right side.
- do this for 10 seconds.
- then keep looking at black dot and move your head in upper side then down side.
- do this also for 10 seconds.
Close Your Eyes with Hands: When you want to take break after seeing screen, then just close your eyes with your hands.
- close your eyes completely.
- then look for a dark.
- open your eyes when there is dark black after closing your hands.
- do this for 20 to 30 seconds it will reduce eye strain.
Blinking: it is found in Studies that when we use mobile screen our blinking rate is around 8-10/ minutes. and when we are not infront of screen then our blinking rate is around 15-20 times per minute.
- Staring at a screen for extended periods without any break can lead to a reduced blinking reflex, contributing to dry eyes.
- Screens emit blue light, which may contribute to digital eye strain and impact the production of melatonin, potentially affecting sleep patterns.
- whenever you are using mobile after 20 to 30 minutes you just go away for few minute from screen.
- it will help to reduce eye strain.
Note: Do all exercise very smoothly, don’t do it in hard way, don’t do this exercise in hurry also without any pressure.
while using mobile devices, consider the following tips:
- Follow the 20-20-20 rule: Take a 20-second break every 20 minutes and look at something 20 feet away to reduce eye strain.
- Blink consciously: Make an effort to blink regularly to keep your eyes moist.
- Adjust screen settings: Reduce screen brightness and consider using blue light filters to minimize eye strain.
- Use artificial tears: Lubricating eye drops can help alleviate dryness and discomfort.
- Take breaks: Give your eyes regular breaks from screen time to reduce the risk of eye strain.
Conclusion:
If you start following this exercise daily then you will definitely improve your eyes power also your eye number will be reduced. To reduce your eye number you need to stay away from screen and also do physical exercise daily, it will help in improving eye power.
If you consistently experience discomfort or notice changes in your vision while using mobile devices, it’s advisable to consult with an eye care professional for personalized advice and recommendations.
